Beauty Care Tips

Hair Care

Little Shop of Envy, LLC and team are dedicated to providing superior quality hair extensions. Purchasing your new hair is an investment.

LSoE hair can last up to 4 or more years with proper care.

It’s light weight, anti-shed, thick from weft top ends and true to length!

To maintain the luxury and softness of the hair is time consuming. However, in order to maintain its natural complexity, we recommend the following tips...

For ALL Hair Types

  • We recommend using a moisturizing or a hydrating, non-sulfate and alcohol free shampoo and conditioner.
  • **Doing so keeps hair clean and moisturized. Avoid using alcohol based shampoos and conditioners, for it will only dry hair out and damage extensions.

  • Always detangle hair before washing with a detangle brush or wide tooth comb.
  •  **To detangle, start from ends and work your way up to the weft.

  • We recommend washing hair every 2 weeks.
  • **Time varies depending on product build up and may have to wash or do a conditioner rinse once a week.

  • When washing hair, run fingers/hands from weft to ends.
  • **Don’t perform a circular motion, it could cause damage by tangling/matting and breakage of the hair.

  • Always towel dry or air-dry extensions.
  • **Unless you use a heat protectant serum or spray. It's used to avoid overheating and damage to the hair. Too much heat can dry hair causing split ends, tangling and breakage.

    Before Bed Routine:

    • Never sleep on hair while it's wet.
**It's known to matte while you're asleep so never do that. Make sure hair is completely dry.
      •  We recommend to always make jumbo twists, plaits or install flexi rods in extensions.
**Doing so to avoid unnecessary matting and tangling of hair while asleep. It maintains curl pattern(s) and reduces heat to your hair.

    • We recommend wearing a satin/silk scarf or bonnet for bed.
    •

**To avoid drying hair. Objective is to not dry hair out. Keep it moisturized.

      Blonde Collection

Our blonde collection is high maintenance therefore it needs a little more care. Blonde is chemically processed with bleach and dye and is more fragile than natural collection. Listed below are some tips to keeping hair looking moisturized and healthy.

    • We recommend washing your hair once a week.
    • **Keep hair clean to avoid build-up. It could cause matting and breakage damaging the hair.

    • We recommend using a daily moisturizer.
    • **A daily hair regimen to keep hair looking silky and healthy looking.

Deep Curly and Wave Pattern Hair

    • Always detangle hair while wet.
    • **Detangling while dry could cause ripping and damage to hair.

    • Recommend using curling custard or any alcohol free mousse.
    • **To keep curls moisturized and luxurious looking curls.

    • Always detangle hair from ends up.
    • **To pick out the knots to avoid damaging hair from weft.

    • Use a leave in conditioner and water mix to keep hair moisturized.
    • **Daily for Blonde Collection.
